HCNJ Founded in 1998

Our original goal was to improve health awareness and offer basic medical screening to detect chronic diseases for uninsured/underinsured individuals in South Asian Community.

Started with one-day health camp – Currently HCNJ organizes four to five health camps annually. A well-conceived community-based healthcare screening for the people residing in Somerset, Hudson, Mercer and Middlesex Counties especially where a large number of South Asian Community members reside.

As we continue to expand our outreach and impact, we are excited to launch a new initiative in 2026 to establish a Community Health Center Look-Alike / Federally Qualified Health Clinic (FQHC) to provide primary medical, dental, and mental health services, follow-up services, vaccinations, to underserved populations across New Jersey.

New Services Starting July 2026

HCNJ is launching a Community Health Center initiative in 2026 to provide year-round, continuous care beyond periodic health fairs. This center will serve as a community health clinic for underserved individuals, offering primary care, chronic disease management, preventive screenings, health education, and coordinated referrals under one roof while awaiting look-alike/Federally Qualified Health Clinic (FQHC) status.
